Everything included in this service

Platform Selection and Discovery

We assess your catalog size, B2B or B2C model, integration requirements, and growth roadmap to recommend the right platform. No vendor bias, just what fits your situation.

Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce

Custom module development, B2B Commerce catalog and quote management, multi-store setup, and performance optimization for high-volume Magento installations.

Shopify and Shopify Plus

Custom Liquid theme development, Shopify app development, Shopify Plus enterprise features including Scripts and Flows, and migrations from other platforms to Shopify.

BigCommerce Development

Custom Stencil theme development, headless BigCommerce with Next.js, B2B catalog and account management, and API-first architecture for complex integrations.

Salesforce Commerce Cloud

SFRA cartridge development, Einstein AI product recommendations and search, Salesforce B2C Commerce to CRM integration, and multi-site global implementations.

Platform Migrations

Moving from Magento 1, WooCommerce, OpenCart, or custom carts to a modern platform. We migrate product data, customer records, order history, and URLs with SEO redirect mapping.

Custom Integrations

ERP, CRM, PIM, payment gateways, shipping carriers, tax engines, loyalty platforms, and marketing tools. We design integrations that handle edge cases and fail gracefully.

Performance and Conversion Optimization

Page load time, checkout conversion, Core Web Vitals, and mobile UX improvements for existing stores. We measure before and after, not just ship and move on.

Our process for this service

Platform assessment and scoping

Week 1

We review your current setup, catalog structure, integration requirements, and business goals. The output is a platform recommendation and a project scope with milestones.

Architecture and design

Week 2 to 3

Data model, integration architecture, theme design, and a technical specification before any development begins.

Development and integration

Week 3 onward

Iterative builds with staging environment review at each milestone. Integrations built and tested against real data, not mocks.

QA, launch, and post-launch support

Final phase

Cross-browser and device testing, load testing for high-traffic scenarios, phased go-live, and a post-launch period where we monitor and fix issues at no extra charge.

Common questions

It comes down to catalogue complexity, whether you sell B2B or B2C, your integration requirements, and how much of your business logic needs to override the platform. Shopify and Shopify Plus suit fast-moving DTC brands and moderate B2B, where you gain speed and give up deep checkout control. Magento and Adobe Commerce suit complex catalogues and heavy customisation, at the cost of needing engineering capacity to run it. BigCommerce is strong for mid-market and B2B, particularly where you want native company accounts and quoting rather than an app. Salesforce Commerce Cloud fits enterprise brands already committed to the Salesforce ecosystem. The question that separates them fastest is whether your business genuinely requires overriding checkout. If it does, a SaaS platform will fight you. If it does not, self-hosting is usually cost you do not need.

Yes. We migrate from Magento 1 and 2, WooCommerce, OpenCart, Volusion, Demandware, and custom carts, covering product data, customer records, and order history, with a redirect map built to preserve rankings. The part that decides whether a migration goes well is the pre-migration audit, which is why we do it before quoting the build rather than after. Catalogue and customer data almost always migrate cleanly. What causes overruns is everything else: data your extensions created and nobody thinks of as data, such as loyalty balances, subscription states, and custom customer attributes sitting in extension-specific tables. Those need individual decisions and are routinely discovered late. We inventory them first, so the estimate reflects what is actually there rather than what a discovery call surfaced.

We build the redirect map from a full crawl of the existing site rather than from its sitemap, because sitemaps routinely omit URLs that still carry inbound links, including discontinued products and old campaign pages. Every redirect is a single hop; chains of two or three are common on stores that have migrated before, and each hop dilutes the signal and slows crawling. Before go-live we verify canonical tags and confirm product structured data survived the template rebuild, which is easy to lose silently. Staging is kept behind authentication so it cannot be indexed and compete with your live site. After cutover we monitor Search Console for crawl errors and ranking movement. A dip of a week or two around a migration is normal; a sustained loss is a scoping failure, not an inevitability.

Yes. Retainer support covers bug fixes, security patches, platform and dependency updates, performance monitoring, and incremental feature work. Security patching is the part worth taking seriously rather than deferring: ecommerce platforms are actively scanned for known vulnerabilities, and the majority of real-world compromises exploit an unpatched extension rather than the platform core. We also train your team to handle day-to-day content and catalogue management, and we would rather you did that work yourselves than paid us to change product descriptions. A good arrangement leaves you dependent on us for the things that genuinely need engineering and independent for everything else. If a retainer is quietly funding work your own team could do faster, that is a badly designed retainer and worth saying so.

Yes. ERP integrations covering SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, and Odoo, and CRM integrations with Salesforce and HubSpot, are a substantial part of what we do. The design decision that matters most is where each piece of truth lives and how fresh it needs to be. Pricing calculated in the ERP and synced on a schedule is simple to reason about but goes stale; pricing resolved at request time is accurate but adds a dependency to every page load. Most working implementations do both, syncing a base price list periodically and calling out live only for contract-specific overrides. We build with proper error handling, retry logic with backoff, and monitoring that alerts when a sync silently stops, because the failure mode that hurts is not a loud error but a job that reports success while processing nothing.
